Community Care College, along with its sister campuses, Clary Sage College and Oklahoma Technical College, today announced that the parent company was recently named to the Inc. 5000 list for 2010, a compendium of the most entrepreneurial and fastest growing private companies in the U.S.
“Our college is joyously celebrating this accomplishmentm for this is a direct testament of the hard work, diligence and commitment of our employees to furthering the mission and core values of our institution,” said Teresa Knox, founder and CEO. “The employees inspire positive change in the lives of our students each and every day. Our students have educational options in both the public and private sector of higher education, and they choose us.”
This year, the college was placed in the top 2000 of the list at No. 1,768. Inc. Magazine reviews financial and statistical data for previous years to determine whether a company qualifies to be on the list. Companies must have made at least $80,000 in revenue for 2006 and $2 million for 2009. Additionally, they had to be U.S.-based, privately held, for-profit and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of Dec. 31, 2009.
As an Inc. 5000 honoree, the colleges of Community Care College share a prestigious pedigree with such notable alumni as Intuit, Zappos, Under Armour, Microsoft, Jamba Juice, Timberland, Visa, Clif Bar, Patagonia, Oracle and scores of other powerhouses.
All honorees will be recognized at the awards ceremony on Oct. 2 in Washington, D.C. A full Inc. 5000 list can be viewed at www.inc.com/inc5000.
