SpringPoint Technologies, a technology staffing and information technology services provider, and Peak UpTime, a midsized IT solutions provider, announced Peak UpTime has purchased SpringPoint’s application development division. The sale follows the retirement of SpringPoint’s founder, Roger Short, and will provide an opportunity to expand the firm’s staffing and managed services divisions.
“Staffing and managed services are our sweet spots, and I believe our focused approach will extend that profitability,” said Travis Short, SpringPoint president. “I’ve worked alongside my father for nearly seven years and am proud to have the opportunity to build upon our joint vision for our company. Selling this division to Peak UpTime positions SpringPoint for tremendous growth.”
Peak UpTime specializes in development, deployment management and integration of technology.
“We are excited about the opportunity to expand our client base and deliver our new breadth of capabilities,” said Gordon Martin, president of Peak UpTime. “We believe this is a seamless transition for SpringPoint’s clients. Existing division staff will transition to Peak UpTime.”
SpringPoint, also located in Tulsa, will focus its efforts on its IT staffing and managed services divisions.
